It just common fucking courtesy. Can you please put an index on that table so I don't have to wait 3 minutes for my query to return? Since I do this about 20 times a day it would save me about an hour. If you don't know how, I'll show you. It's one line of SQL.
Of course, I can't say that, because he's the customer, and therefore is always right. So I'll just put up with the full table scan.

I don't know how many of you are following the tragedy in the mine in West Virginia. Apparently, many newspapers on the east coast got the headline wrong the day after they found the miners. But of all the crazy newspaper headlines, this one was really beyond the pale...
"Randall McCloy found alive, Hatfields not pleased."
